I graduated from Pleasant Valley Community High School in Pleasant Valley, IA in 1993. I attended Iowa State University for two years where had it not been for such fine libations as Milwaukees Best and Boones Farm I probably would have set myself of fire out of boredom. After two years of the architecture program I came upon the realization that I wasnt going to find happiness building things out of balsa wood and Elmers glue. I began my search for a private art college to give the better part of my income to for the next ten years. I was accepted into the Minneapolis College of Art + Designs Fine Arts degree program in the fall of 1995. As soon as I was able I changed my major to animation. After four and a half years of hard work and crying myself to sleep at night I graduated with a BFA in animation with a minor in illustration in May 2000. Over the next few years I worked as a freelance artist until I went nuts eventually compromising my values and integrity for a regular paycheck. For the last two years I've been making pixels sing and dance for King Show Games, LLC, where I design the next generation of video games for the casino industry. Alas, I've found professional production to be rather unfulfilling and plan to earn my MFA so that I might give something back to the community that was responsible for transforming me from a wooden puppet into a real boy.

It's a bit of a gran faloon, I know, but we were hatched in the same general area. I spent the first nine years of my life in LeClaire. My brother went to Pleasant Valley too, but he graduated in 86... I think. Anyway, not that all that matters. I just had to stop and read your profile when I saw Pleasant Valley in the description :) Havent heard that name in a long while. Great mojis man. Keep em comin.
