Newcastle rocks :) With regards design companies, sure there are some, not exactly the UK's leading though, think you're better off in London for that. Are you looking to get a design job here? Think the pickings are quite slim, but take a peek at http://www.conceptpersonnel.com, they deal with creative recruitment and are very efficient.

What's the craic man, I'm from Carlow, working up in dublin in graphic design. Na man didn't go to ballyfermot, dit, just pure graphic design. HI, you're welcome: that little CoCo nut needs someone to tend his tufty bits... glad you like the silhouettes. I've just started using this site but I did put the bloons on pictoplasma for awhile. However they over wrote them with some other stuff I sent in! Love Picto but this site is so much more fun because of the dialogue. It's such a surprise what people like and dislike. The only thing is, it may be a very narrow audience rather than a gauge of general opinion? dunno

Thanks for your comment. Fimo is amazing, though I had quite a bit of problems after I'd baked him as the tentacles are really thin and I kept snapping them off by accident. All the tentacles around the back of him aren't actually connected. Need to find some super glue I reckon.

Have you seen Fantastic Planet? Your work reminds me of that film... Your style is all your own, but your characters could live in that world for sure. Love your work. Love your screen name too. Since I was small and to this day I still find faces and images in the stucco of ceilings and the textures of carpet.

Yes. Mark Ryden is a very nice guy. I have been to some of his shows here in LA and met him a few times. His girlfriend is also a very talented artist. www.marionpeck.com. I have a Ryden tattoo. Can't afford a painting. I spend all my money on rent here!!

Hey paco1 I got my diploma from ballyfermot...cool but dodgy place ..I went on to get my degree at Dundee Scotland...where i'm living now. By the way pareidolia is the word for the phenomenon where you see faces in things...this happens to me all the time...no complaints.. anyway my graduate animation is online but its not the proper version..I changed some elements (The pacing and how the shots cut together and stuff)..the quality\compression makes it very bitty..www.imaging.dundee.ac.uk/animation/aaronbrady.htm....i didn't design the website... so sorry about the spelling mistakes.

no, it´s a kind of collage- mixture between vectorgraphics and bitmaps-cutouts. probably i could do them analog with "real" paper, photos, glue and sizzors... thanx for kommenting so quick!
