A product if the rare phenomenon known as " Unearthed Damnation", or, when a stray soul that has been banished to the center of the earth finds it's way to the surface. When the spirit reaches the the earth's crust, it collides with any material matter surrounding it in a dirt-covered force field. The encasing expands, like a bubble, until it is large enough to burst through the soil. The spirit trapped within the earth bubble then goes through a hibernation-like stage for a period of 2-3 weeks, feeding on other plant life on and around it. When it is strong enough, the "Budd" un-earths itself and floats away freely. Budds find joy in toying with the human race by warping and shift-shaping objects and items around it with incredible mental/spiritual force.
